One of my favourite places to visit on the island is Long Beach, Tofino. It is beautiful place that changes dramatically over the year. I really like going there durning storm season.

- I live and work on beautiful Vancouver Island. I grew up in a family of avid photographers. My grandfather had a darkroom and a Leica M3, which I inherited. My father and brothers built a darkroom in our basement. We wound our own film canisters and did our own developing.An uncle used to produce amazing sound and light shows. I drifted away from photography as I got into my 20's. I moved to this wonderful island six years ago and my passion for photography was re-ignited. I now shoot in digital format. Ive had so many people comment about this one... One girl from Seattle immediately said "that's from the West coast, isn't it? Because that's a West coast beach, not an East coast one."
